This style homogenizer combines both a conical and cylindrical grinding surface. Tissue is forced up the conical section as the pestle is bottomed in the tube forcing the homogenate up to the cylindrical section. Grinding efficiency is greatly improved over other tissue grinders. PTFE model is ideal for soft tissues such as brain or liver. Pestle is made of heavy wall tubing allowing for motorized operation. Clearance between tube and pestle is .004" to .006"
