Contamination caused by wet vacuum lines is an issue many users face with larger batches. This high efficiency receiver functions a security measure to eliminate accidental contamination when switching receiving flasks, turning off the vacuum or due to vacuum failure.

The initial entrance drains distillate into a receiver flask, while the high efficiency coil condenses vapor bypass into a separate discharge flask. This keeps the vacuum lines dry so it can continue to operate efficiently. When switching receiver flasks, turning off the vacuum or vacuum failure, excess foreign material drops down into the discharge flask effectively preventing contamination.

The coil can be connected to a liquid or gas cooling system through the 1/4" hose connections. Receiver flasks with 24/40 joints and discharge flasks with 14/20 joints can be used with this distillation receiver.

Made by NDS Technologies, Inc. in the USA using 100% Schott or Pyrex glass to meet the requirements required by ASTM E438; Type 1, Class A, 33 expansion borosilicate glass.
