(2)Designed for maximum flexibility, these adapters have open-top caps that provide vacuum-tight seals for the entrance of thermometers, syringes and pipets. Sizes are available to accommodate items with ODs between 5.5 and 10.5mm. The compression cap and internal, FKM O-Ring allow complete control of the immersion depth of the inserted thermometer or other item. Replace the O-Ring with a liner and the adapter becomes a septum port for syringes.

(2)Our Distillation Head with Vigreux Indents has high efficiency due to our improved design, which features a longer condenser that increases the condensing area. This allows an overall higher purity separation during fractionating.

(2)This cylindrical distillation receiver eliminates redundant ports and features a single port and allows of rapid switching and isolating contamination during switching of fractions. This receiver is leak free when properly sealed.
Made by NDS Technologies, Inc in the USA using 100% Schott or Pyrex glass to meet the requirements required by ASTM E438; Type 1, Class A, 33 expansion borosilicate glass.

(2)Contamination caused by wet vacuum lines is an issue many users face with larger batches. This high efficiency receiver functions a security measure to eliminate accidental contamination when switching receiving flasks, turning off the vacuum or due to vacuum failure.
The initial entrance drains distillate into a receiver flask, while the high efficiency coil condenses vapor bypass into a separate discharge flask. This keeps the vacuum lines dry so it can continue to operate efficiently. When switching receiver flasks, turning off the vacuum or vacuum failure, excess foreign material drops down into the discharge flask effectively preventing contamination.
The coil can be connected to a liquid or gas cooling system through the 1/4" hose connections. Receiver flasks with 24/40 joints and discharge flasks with 14/20 joints can be used with this distillation receiver.

This Cow-Type design has one receiver. The condenser connects into the spherical section; efficiently distributing oils and concentrates into a receiving flask.
/Asset/3241.jpgDry Ice Vacuum Trap
This system is used for liquid solvent collecting with filtration manifolds, gel dryers, vacuum ovens, rotary evaporators, and vacuum concentrators. Our Dry Ice trap improves the solvent recovery process, reliability of the pump, and prevents any downtime normally caused by liquid condensation from reaching the pump.
• Reduces solvent vapors from being released into the environment.
• Heavy-duty Pyrex® glass construction.
• Completely replaces expensive refrigeration devices.
• All Glass construction makes it easier to see trap operation and solvent collection levels.
• Supplied complete with hose connections for 3/8" tubing, quick disconnects, tubing, and cap.
Call for prices on other sizes as well as plastic safety coating.
This system should be used with 8699-Series, Vacuum Pumps
OPERATION:
1. Inspect all equipment, do not use any damaged equipment or glassware.
2. Carefully connect the trap between your vacuum process port and the inlet port of the vacuum pump.
3. Using vacuum tubing, make sure all of your connections are secure, do not overtighten.
4. Place the trap on a stable surface, place dry ice into the center of the trap. Use isopropyl alcohol, not acetone. The cold finger created by the dry ice will trap the moisture on the inside of the chamber walls.
IMPORTANT: Completely empty out the trap after each use and thraw frozen contents before emptying. Leaving dry ice in the trap for an excessive period of time will cause a build up and may eventually damage the trap.

/Asset/7602.jpgThree Way Cow-Type Receiver
This Cow-Type design has three receivers. The condenser connects into the spherical section; efficiently distributing oils and concentrates into a receiving flask. Once the first receiving flask is full, the user can carefully rotate to the next flask. The benefit of this setup is continuous distillation operation.

This thermometer can be used to measure the temperature of liquid, steam, and gases.
/Asset/3290.jpgBaffled Insert / Key
(4)Our original design gives the user an adjustable Baffled Insert that provides additional surface area and improves compound separation. This two piece design allows the user to interchange different baffled inserts and is economical for replacements if one breaks.

(4)This Distillation Head can use a thermometer to serve as column packing. This smaller condensed Head offers extremely short travel distance for condensation to occur.
