Conical bottom reservoirs are designed for the delivery of virtually all of the HPLC mobile phase without having to tilt the reservoir dangerously on edge. Integral indents in the conical section provide enhanced mixing of solvents when used with a magnetic stirrer. Made from the most chemically inert borosilicate glass, these reservoirs limit the leaching of extractables into the mobile phase solvents contained. An external, blue-tinted, plastic coating protects light-sensitive solvents from degradation while adding a measure of safety should breakage occur. The coating blocks virtually all ultraviolet light up to 385 nm and is autoclavable.
